Who We Are Now is totally enthralling. It manages to be witty without being pretentious. The characters, aided by fine acting, defy expectations and are suitably multi-faceted and intriguing. The film offers profound insight into the American justice system as well as the human heart, the foundation and life line of the entire system. Underlying the film is the belief that we are capable of change. It will keep you thinking long after the screen dims..

I saw the original movie and except for an excellent opening scene didn't like it at all.  I have hopes that this remake is better.  The characters in the original were wooden and uninteresting, and they acted as though they had to eat people like it couldn't be helped, and that seemed so stupid and asinine to me, the whole time I was like Why can't you all just go eat some chicken?!  Maybe there is a better explanation in this version?  Maybe not, but it still looks better than the original..
